Queens of the Stone Age will release a new studio album titled Perfecth on Oct. 30 \u2014 and so far, it\u2019s shaping up to be another unique musical adventure from Joshua Homme and Co.<\/p>\n

To preview the record, QOTSA stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night to perform a song called \u201cWhere the Goth Girls At?\u201d. Watch that performance atop this post.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Tonight Show clip, Queens of the Stone Age announced a 2027 tour with special guests Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere The Goth Girls At?\u201d is one of three songs shared by the band ahead of its ninth full-length album.<\/p>\n

The album news also came with this quirky video from director Chapman Baehler in which Homme adopts a dog named Big Chongus \u2014 find out if Big Chongus finds his Perfecth home below:<\/p>\n

On this record, Homme is joined by musical pals Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore \u2014 the resulting set of songs a unique chapter in QOTSA\u2019s enduring career.<\/p>\n

Also on the album is \u201cEasy Street,\u201d which debuted in July as the band\u2019s first new music since 2023:<\/p>\n

More on the record, per a news release:<\/p>\n

Birthed from sessions tracked everywhere from New Orleans to Los Angeles, the music is fearless and boundless, moody and menacing, gentle and strange. Here, Queens have moved a career\u2019s worth of jagged pieces into alignment. \u201cEvery song sounds like it\u2019s from a different world,\u201d says Homme. \u201cAnd that\u2019s on purpose, because it\u2019s trying to stitch together all these emotions revolving around love, lust, foolishness, and the sort of wisdom that comes as a gift from all that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The record is called Perfecth because \u201cperfect,\u201d as a word, has never been honest. It doesn\u2019t exist. So, Homme broke the word and made it \u201cperfecth,\u201d a more appropriate spelling for a term that never felt right to begin with. \u201cNothing in this world is perfect, but everything seems to be \u2018perfecth\u2019,\u201d he explains. \u201cAnd that title is funny when you\u2019re in a group, but it ain\u2019t so funny when you\u2019re alone.\u201d<\/p>\n
