A wrong-way Citi Bike rider was left clinging to life when he collided head-on with another rider steps from Central Park late Wednesday, cops and sources said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old Citi Bike rider was heading west in the eastbound lane on Central Park North near Malcolm X Boulevard around 7:45 p.m. when he slammed into a 20-year-old man on an Amyet bike heading the right way, according to authorities and sources.<\/p>\n

The impact threw both men from their bikes just outside the northernmost end of the park, home to the Harlem Meer.<\/p>\n

The older man was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital in critical condition with head trauma, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The younger cyclist, who suffered head and body trauma, went to the same hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.<\/p>\n

The collision came a day after an e-bike rider was struck<\/a> \u2013 and critically hurt \u2013 by a hit-and-run driver on a busy Brooklyn street, cops said.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old biker was struck around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Nostrand Avenue near Atlantic Avenue in Crown Heights by the driver of a white 2026 Hyundai Elantra, police said.<\/p>\n
