Formerly known as JACX&CO, METTRA<\/a> is entering a new chapter under new management, bringing a refreshed identity, nearly a dozen dining concepts and a renewed focus on food, entertainment and community to Long Island City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Beyond dining, METTRA aims to become a vibrant gathering destination for residents, office workers and visitors through live entertainment, cultural programming, private events and community celebrations.<\/p>\n

A Two-Day Grand Opening Celebration<\/p>\n

To introduce its new identity, METTRA will host a flight-themed grand opening celebration on Oct. 29\u201330, 2026, featuring DJs, live performances, raffles, food, cocktails and airline-inspired festivities, complete with staff dressed as flight attendants and captains.<\/p>\n

Thursday, Oct. 29 | 12\u20134 p.m.\n<\/p>\n

The grand opening preview will feature an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, DJ entertainment, dance performances and an opportunity for guests to explore the food hall.<\/p>\n

Friday, Oct. 30 | 7 p.m.\u201312 a.m.\n<\/p>\n

The main grand opening party will feature DJs, live performances, food, cocktails, prize raffles and special Halloween surprises.\n<\/p>\n

Admission to both grand opening events is free. For guests looking to enjoy the full experience, the Tasting Passport offers a bundled food and drink experience, along with entry into the grand opening raffle. Passports can be redeemed on either Oct. 29 or Oct. 30.<\/p>\n

Nagaiki Ramen<\/a> \u2014 Japanese Noodles with a Modern Twist\n<\/p>\n

Specializing in Abura Soba, a Japanese brothless ramen, Nagaiki serves noodles tossed in rich umami oils, signature sauces and fresh toppings. Its name, Nagaiki (\u9577\u751f\u304d), means \u201clong life,\u201d reflecting the brand\u2019s philosophy of balance and longevity.<\/p>\n

Siam Thai<\/a> \u2014 Authentic Thai Flavors\n<\/p>\n
