Brooklyn, N.Y. (October 22, 2026) — Brooklyn FC Women play their third home match in a row against the Tampa Bay Sun on October 24th. Kickoff is at 4 PM ET, streaming on Peacock.

Brooklyn FC will conclude their homestand after having a week off from match play, facing Tampa Bay for the first time this season. Historically, Brooklyn has never lost to Tampa Bay, recording five wins, three draws, and zero losses in their head-to-head matchups.

Tampa Bay have slipped down the table in recent weeks, as the club has now lost the last two matches and is winless in its last four. Forward Shea Connors has been the standout for the team and before the two losses, she had scored in five straight matches, tying her for second most goals in the league this season. Tampa Bay now has three former Brooklyn players in their squad, defenders Kelsey Hill and Leah Scarpelli, and midfielder Sam Kroeger. Defender Vivianne Bessette is another key member of the team, now in her third season with the Sun. She leads the team in clearances, blocks and passes, as well as contributing one assist this season.

Brooklyn is looking to keep gaining points in pursuit of its first-ever playoff appearance, currently sitting four points behind the final postseason place. With a win, they could leapfrog Tampa in the table and move closer to the top four. Brooklyn have put in much stronger performances at home, and are now unbeaten in their last three matches at Maimonides Park. Forward Tziarra King has been a consistent starter for the squad, with all seven of her appearances coming in the starting XI, and she scored her second goal of the season in the last match against Dallas Trinity. Midfielder Jess Garziano is the longest tenured player in the Brooklyn squad, the last member of the inaugural team still present. She earned her first assist of the season against Dallas, after providing five last season. Goalkeeper Bre Norris and midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe both return to the team after international duty. Forward Catherine Zimmerman will also be one to watch; last season she scored five goals in four matches against the Sun.

Brooklyn FC Women next head on the road to face Sporting JAX on October 31 at 2 PM ET. They will then return to Maimonides Park on November 7 to host the league-leading Carolina Ascent at 2 PM ET.
