Lapland, well-known across the pond for its decorations, pajamas, toys and other holiday merchandise, will launch at 3 West 57th St. on Nov. 4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"NYK5COLAHZBVPFMVG4OTLXNLMI\">According to a report from the New York Business Journal, Lapland, founded in 2007 by husband-and-wife duo Alison and Michael Battle, provides a variety of immersive Christmas experiences, which have attracted more than 2 million visitors, including celebrities and members of the British royal family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"T2DEO4EH6RBSVKIBJRP6PFF2IQ\">Katz &amp; Associates, the real estate advisory firm that brokered the deal, said more than 40 employees \u2014 dressed as elves \u2014 will operate the Manhattan store.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"MICNDHPUWVBBPPC3ZMWAOIUOCA\">\u201cIt\u2019s exciting to see this beloved Christmas experience come to New York in a new way and to bring even more holiday magic to New Yorkers and visitors this season,\u201d Katz &amp; Associates said in a statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A popular British Christmas brand will open its first U.S. retail store in Midtown Manhattan next month.
