The King of Queens has been one of my favorite shows, it’s so relatable and funny. This TV show featured Leah Remini as Carrie and Kevin James as Doug Heffernan along with Carrie’s father in the show, Arthur who was played by Jerry Stiller!

On The King of Queens episode, Deconstructing Carrie, they make a reference to the Hudson Valley. During this episode, Arthur and Holly who is played by Nicole Sullivan, are chatting about the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival! Holly asks Arthur about his experience at this iconic three day festival.

Arthur made me laugh out loud at this response where he mentioned that he worked security there. In this episode, he mentioned that

“It was a magical three days”

Arthur also shared what he did as a security guard and made reference to what substance the concert attendees were under while at the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival, haha. I would personally recommend those who love The King of Queens to what this episode as Arthur has hilarious outbursts during each time.

When Else Does The King Of Queens’ Mention The Hudson Valley?

The King of Queens has also mentioned the Hudson Valley is other episodes! In the China Syndrome episode, Doug makes a reference to a Dutchess County town and city.

He shares,

“Just enjoying the smells of Poughkeepsie”

In The Home Cheapo episode, Doug makes a reference to Bear Mountain and in the Paint Misbehavin’, they mention the Catskills.

Who Is From New York State On The King Of Queens Show?"GettyGetty Editorial, Photo by Frederick M. Brown/Getty ImagesGetty Editorial, Photo by Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images

According to Biography.com, Leah Remini was born in Brooklyn, NY and Kevin James was born in Mineola, NY! IMDb mentioned that Jerry Stiller was also born in New York State, in Brooklyn! It’s easy to see on this show that they are true New York State natives, especially with Carrie’s accent.

Have fun catching these episodes on TV, YouTube or streaming platforms!
