Queens of the Stone Age will support their soon-to-be-released album Perfecth\u00a0on a 2027 tour. Beginning May 1st at San Diego\u2019s Viejas Arena, they will bring their unforgettable live set to venues such as Kia Forum in Los Angeles and TD Garden in Boston, and will also stage outdoor shows at Red Rocks and American Family Insurance Amp in Milwaukee. Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp will support on all dates, which go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Oct. 29th at 10am local time and pre-sale begins Oct. 28th at 10am local time. Last night, the band returned to NBC\u2019s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\u00a0for the live debut of \u201cWhere the Goth Girls At?\u201d off their forthcoming release Perfecth, coming Oct. 30th via Matador Records. It follows previously released Perfecth\u00a0songs \u201cInsignificant Other<\/a>,\u201d which Uncut\u00a0described as a \u201cdeliciously callous kiss-off,\u201d and the Nikki Lane-featuring \u201cEasy Street<\/a>,\u201d which DIY called \u201cdecidedly surreal.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year Halloween becomes HalloQueen, as the band will celebrate the release of Perfecth\u00a0with HalloQueen retail events around the world on Oct. 31. Costumes are encouraged! It was made in the spirit of Kintsugi\u00a0\u2014 the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by filling its cracks with gold, which holds that what has been shattered is made more beautiful, not less, by the act of repair. It\u2019s an album that could only have been made right now thanks to band members taking significant evolutionary steps as a collective and arriving at hard-won clarity, its nine songs map different forms of love: of family, friends, and others both significant and insignificant. Birthed from sessions tracked everywhere from New Orleans to Los Angeles, the music is fearless and boundless, moody and menacing, gentle and strange.
