Brooklyn opened its 60th season with a 110-103 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. The Hornets scored 48 points inside the paint, shot 17-of-22 at the rim, and added 20 second-chance points, exposing some of the concerns surrounding the Nets\u2019 positional-size approach. Mikel Brown Jr. remains on a minutes restriction on Saturday and then he\u2019ll sit on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Opening Night was great until it wasn\u2019t for the Cleveland Cavaliers. They blew a 29-point lead to the Philadelphia 76ers 0n national television. Don\u2019t be surprised if they\u2019re fired up in front of their home crowd.<\/p>\n
