Manhattan High cross country opened the postseason with a dominant performance, sweeping the team titles at its home sub-state meet Saturday under near-perfect conditions at Warner Park.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe kids have been excited, and you love to see that. With Warner being a challenging course, they have been really excited to have others come here and race us on our course,\u201d head coach Susan Melgares said. \u201cAnd with the weather being nice, that takes a lot of the headache potential. We wanted everything to go smoothly. It was certainly a blessing overall.\u201d<\/p>\n
