{"id":384229,"date":"2026-10-27T17:18:08","date_gmt":"2026-10-27T17:18:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/384229\/"},"modified":"2026-10-27T17:18:08","modified_gmt":"2026-10-27T17:18:08","slug":"man-charged-with-murder-after-woman-found-in-shallow-grave-in-queens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/384229\/","title":{"rendered":"Man charged with murder after woman found in shallow grave in Queens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK (1010 WINS) &#8212; A Queens man was charged with murder Monday after his ex-girlfriend was reportedly found dead in a shallow grave in the Rockaways.<\/p>\n<p>Rogelio Lozano-Garita, 26, also faces charges of criminal possession of a weapon, concealment of a human corpse, and tampering with physical evidence following his arrest on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators believe he killed Seraphina Pereira, 35, who was also from the Rockaways.<\/p>\n<p>She reportedly went missing last week before her body was found Saturday night buried at Rockaway Community Park, near Beach 58th Street and Almeda Avenue, in Edgemere.
