Precincts and Transit Crime Reporting

The 66th and 78th precincts are in Brooklyn, not the Bronx. The department maintains ongoing precinct-level crime statistics for those precincts. Separately, the department’s transit crime reports break down complaints and arrests by transit district.

Other Bronx Robbery Patterns Have Drawn Similar Appeals

Public appeals for help identifying robbery suspects have become a recurring feature of Bronx policing in recent months, though none of those cases has been confirmed to be connected to Wednesday’s post. In July, police in the Bronx and Queens searched for suspects tied to five deli robberies that netted nearly $10,000 in cash, with investigators linking the armed suspects to incidents across the 43rd, 45th, 49th, 104th and 114th precincts, as reported by amNewYork. No arrests had been made in that case at the time of the report, and the investigation remained ongoing.
