NEW YORK – A teenager died at the hospital after he was shot in the Bronx on Thursday morning, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The NYPD said officers were called to Crotona Place and East 171st Street in the Claremont section just before 9:30 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A 15-year-old boy was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, according to officials.<\/p>\n

Police initially said he was rushed to the hospital in stable condition, but he was later pronounced dead.\u00a0<\/p>\n
