\n\tEvery day is Harry Styles<\/a> Appreciation Day if you listen to \u201cLights Up\u201d enough, but Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal is marking the celebration with an official recognition. <\/p>\n

\n\tFriday, Oct. 30 will be dedicated to recognizing \u201chis contributions to music and the unforgettable memories created on one of New York City\u2019s most iconic stages,\u201d Hoylman-Sigal said in his proclamation of Harry Styles Appreciation Day. Friday will mark the penultimate night of Styles\u2019 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden, where he\u2019s performed every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday since Aug. 26. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHarry Styles is a once-in-a-generation musical talent who has enthralled tens of millions of fans with his euphoric, deeply personal, and unapologetically expressive songs,\u201d Hoylman-Sigal said in a statement. \u201cFrom working as a part-time baker in England to conquering the world\u2019s most iconic stages, Harry Styles has defined how to rise to the top with positivity, grace, and humility.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the proclamation, Hoylman-Sigal said, \u201cHis music, individuality, and connection with audiences have left a lasting impression on fans and the city alike.\u201d Styles has spent long periods of time in New York before. He played two nights at MSG in 2018, five in 2021, and 15 in 2022. But the 30-night stretch of his Together, Together residency has allowed the singer to immerse himself in the city. Styles has been spotting walking from Brooklyn to Manhattan on show days, popping into coffee shops, and chatting with fans on the street.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe last time Styles was in New York, it was easy to tell based on the amount of stray feathers left behind from the boas fans wore to his shows. For this run, it became normal to have him around each week \u2014 each show was just another night at the Garden. But even Styles is feeling the impending blues that will accompany having to say goodbye for now. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn Wednesday night, at the final regular show before two back-to-back Harryween<\/a> concerts, Styles performed \u201cEver Since New York,\u201d<\/a> a deep cut from his self-titled debut, for the first time in four years. The track hasn\u2019t been a staple in his setlist since 2017. Now, he saves it for special occasions.
