Frimpong had recently immigrated to the US from Ghana \u2014 and was being bullied at 329 The DreamYard Preparatory School, according to his father, Thomas Frimpong, 60, who told The Post he believes it is tied to the slaying.<\/p>\n
The principal had called just two days before the murder to tell Thomas Frimpong that his \u201cvery quiet\u201d son was being bullied, he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe said, two boys were fighting with my son, and the two boys got suspended,\u201d the dad said.<\/p>\n
He got another call Thursday \u2014 this time with even more harrowing news.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe principal called me that my son has been shot,\u201d he said, adding that he rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital to see his boy before having to break the news to relatives still in Ghana.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just called his mother [in Ghana] and even I can\u2019t hear her voice, crying, crying, crying. All the family members are crying,\u201d he said, breaking down with his own emotions.<\/p>\n

Three males wearing all black, believed to be between 16 and 18 years old, were spotted fleeing the scene after the burst of gunfire, cops said.<\/p>\n
A nearby witness described seeing two males wearing all black with facemasks running in the park as she was walking to school when she heard a gunshot.<\/p>\n
\u201cI heard like a gunshot. I\u2019m like, \u2018Am I tripping?\u2019 It came from, like, inside the park,\u201d 18-year-old Karolinne Guerrero said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Guerrero said she immediately went to school so she wouldn\u2019t \u201cbe involved.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel scared \u2019cause I live right there. I\u2019m like, yo, I\u2019m scared.\u201d<\/p>\n
A nearby neighbor who witnessed the shooting unfold from his window said two boys \u201cambushed\u201d Javits.<\/p>\n

The witness, who declined to give his name, told The Post two boys \u201cran after him, shot him, ran off into the park.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe boy was lying there for about a half hour before the cops came,\u201d he said, noting that he feels really guilty for not calling the cops but he didn\u2019t want to jeopardize his parole.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople were just walking by him. Then a lady came out [of the nearby homeless shelter] and she called 911. She was frantic,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s like back in the day. Nothing ever changes. They\u2019re still shooting each other,\u201d the witness added.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made and the motive for the violence remains under investigation, cops said Friday<\/p>\n
