When they arrived, they found\u00a024-year-old Tania Morales unconscious and unresponsive with severe head trauma and a laceration to her wrist.<\/p>\n<p>EMS rushed Morales to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in critical condition, where she later died.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-137877548\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Screenshot-2026-10-27-at-12.18.25-PM.jpg\" alt=\"home on tree-lined queens block where woman was beaten to death\" width=\"1200\" height=\"791\" title=\"Husband questioned after wife beaten to death Queens home amid argument over alleged cheating: sources 2\"  \/>Police took the husband into custody not long after responding to the bloody crime scene at a home on the 6900 block of Park Drive East off Jewel Avenue in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens, at around 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 26.Photo via Google Maps<\/p>\n<p>Sources with knowledge of the investigation say that the victim\u2019s husband allegedly got into an argument with her after accusing her of cheating on him before she was fatally beaten.<\/p>\n<p>The sources further stated that the husband then called his mother and told her that Morales had tried to stab him; in response, he claimed to have allegedly struck Morales with a pole, causing her death.
