Officers responded to the area for a report of a serious assault and were told a 27-year-old woman had been approached by an unidentified individual.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police said the suspect slapped the woman on the buttocks before following her into a residential building. Once inside, the suspect sexually assaulted her and then fled in an unknown direction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 WABC-TV.
