Martial H. Amilcar, 28, a member of the Hyena Crips gang, will serve 30 years behind bars for the teen\u2019s murder and an attempted gunpoint robbery of a pharmacy, the United States Attorney\u2019s Office says.<\/p>\n
Samuel Joseph, 15, was fatally shot by Amilcar, also known as \u201cDrippy,\u201d inside his apartment building on Flatbush Avenue in February 2019.<\/p>\n
According to court documents, Joseph was shot multiple times in the head and torso, \u201c…in retaliation for an altercation earlier the same day between Amilcar\u2019s brother, also a Hyena Crips gang member, and Joseph\u2019s older brother, a rival gang member.\u201d<\/p>\n
Amilcar was indicted for racketeering, alongside seven other suspected Hyena Crips members, for various gang-related crimes.<\/p>\n
