(WIBW) &#8211; The Riley County Police Department arrested a man last week after he reportedly left the scene of a vehicle crash. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to RCPD, around 3:44 p.m. on Oct. 29, officers filed a report for failure to stop at an accident, driving under the influence and aggravated battery near McCall Road and E. Highway 24. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers listed a 24-year-old male as the victim. It was reported that a 49-year-old male was involved in a vehicle crash and left the scene. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As a result, Derek Lee Roberts, 49, of Manhattan, was arrested at around 4:49 p.m. on Oct. 29 in the 300 block of Shelle Road for failure to stop at an accident, driving under the influence, and aggravated battery. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">RCPD says Roberts was issued no bond and is not confined in the Riley County Jail.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WIBW.
