He then went outside and slammed his weapon at a deli window.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Two officers who were on patrol in a police car ordered Soto to drop his weapon, according to investigators. Soto ignored their commands and pointed and allegedly shot at police, investigators say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The shooter attempted to flee while allegedly firing behind him, according to officials. He was then struck by officers and was taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He was sent to a local hospital and is expected to live, according to officials.
