New York Attorney General Letitia James\u2019 Republican challenger, Saritha Komatireddy, has made fighting antisemitism a cornerstone of her campaign, and accuses James of turning a \u201cblind eye\u201d to antisemitism. A number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jta.org\/2026\/11\/02\/ny\/new-york-jewish-leaders-defend-democratic-ag-letitia-james-from-gop-challengers-attacks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jewish leaders lined up to defend James\u2019 record<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mamdani appoints Jewish org leader to nonprofit council. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced the appointments to his 33-member nonprofit advisory council on Friday, and they include Andrea Salwen Kopel, executive director of the National Council of Jewish Women.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018SNL\u2019 makes Israel genocide joke.
