Known as \u201cThe Peace House\u201d for its iconic inscribed fa\u00e7ade, the four-story, three-family home at 166 Avenue A<\/a> was the longtime family home and studio of late artist Anton van Dalen. Up one flight is a full-floor loft, used by glass artist Bill Schneider. The space is framed by 11 windows, riveted steel beams, and exposed brick. This floor can be maintained in its current loft layout or modified to include as many as three bedrooms. Accessed via a staircase, the building\u2019s roof offers views over the surrounding village.<\/p>\n
