{"id":39754,"date":"2025-11-14T19:05:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T19:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/39754\/"},"modified":"2025-11-14T19:05:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T19:05:07","slug":"four-suspects-sought-for-violently-stabbing-man-on-bronx-street-nypd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/39754\/","title":{"rendered":"Four suspects sought for violently stabbing man on Bronx street: NYPD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t<img width=\"1200\" height=\"667\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/MixCollage-14-Nov-2025-12-49-PM-2927.jpg\" class=\"crop-center wp-post-image\" alt=\"NYPD released these surveillance images of four men wanted in connection with a Nov. 1 assault in the Bronx\u2019s Baychester section.\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"   title=\"Four suspects sought for violently stabbing man on Bronx street: NYPD 1\"\/>\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD released these surveillance images of four men wanted in connection with a Nov. 1 assault in the Bronx\u2019s Baychester section.<\/p>\n<p>Photo by NYPD\/Crimestoppers<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Detectives in the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amny.com\/new-york\/bronx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Bronx<\/a> are asking the public for help identifying four suspects accused of randomly attacking and stabbing a 26-year-old man earlier this month in the Baychester section of the borough.<\/p>\n<p>Surveillance images of the alleged suspects were released Friday morning by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amny.com\/police-fire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">NYPD<\/a>, who said the assault occurred in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amny.com\/?s=45th+Precinct+\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">45th Precinct<\/a> on Nov. 1 at around 6:35 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Police sources said the victim was in front of 2138 Bartow Ave. when four men approached him and asked, \u201cWhat\u2019s up?\u201d before launching their attack, punching and kicking him.\n<\/p>\n<p>During the attack, one of the perpetrators brandished a sharp object and stabbed the 26-year-old several times in the abdomen and back. The group then fled on foot and has not been identified.\n<\/p>\n<p>EMS took the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals\/Jacobi in stable condition. Sources familiar with the investigation said the victim did not know the suspects.\n<\/p>\n<p>As of Nov. 9, there have been 318 reported assaults in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/assets\/nypd\/downloads\/pdf\/crime_statistics\/cs-en-us-045pct.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">45th Precinct<\/a>, an increase of more than 5% from last year, when 302 were reported during the same period.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding this attack can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (for Spanish, dial 888-57-PISTA).
