She is partnering with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) to host accredited Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) at her district office at a program running at her district office, 6514 20th Ave. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 718-307-7151 or emailing <a href=\"https:\/\/brooklyneagle.com\/cdn-cgi\/l\/email-protection\" class=\"__cf_email__\" data-cfemail=\"eca8859f989e858f98d8dfac8f8399828f8580c282958fc28b839a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">[email\u00a0protected]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>VSOs are trained advocates accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to assist veterans and their families with health, dependent and education benefits, as well as home loans and local programs.
