{"id":40103,"date":"2025-11-15T00:15:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T00:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/40103\/"},"modified":"2025-11-15T00:15:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T00:15:08","slug":"nyc-woman-pours-scorching-hot-cooking-oil-on-man-in-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/40103\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC woman pours scorching-hot cooking oil on man in home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A crazed woman poured scorching-hot cooking oil on a man in a Brooklyn home, leaving him with burns so severe that investigators are having trouble communicating with him, cops and sources said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The gruesome attack took place near East 94th Street and Winthrop Street in Brownsville around 5:20 a.m. Oct. 15 when the woman, who appears to be in her 30s, assaulted the 38-year-old man with the burning grease, according to authorities. <\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.52154532;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"37671553\" width=\"898\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/0520-hours-vicinity-east-94-115435262.jpg\" alt=\"Police are seeking a woman accused of dumping the hot oil on a man. \" class=\"wp-image-37671553\"  \/>Police are seeking this suspect in the case of a man who had hot oil dumped on him in a Brooklyn home.
