A 47-year-old man suffering from head trauma was found dead on the bed of a city Parks Department truck in a Randall\u2019s Island parking lot Friday morning, according to police and sources.<\/p>\n
Cops are now probing the mysterious death after a Parks Department employee made the horrifying discovery around 7:21 a.m. in a restricted lot at the park\u2019s Operations Building near Bronx Shore and Central roads, police and sources said. <\/p>\n
First responders arrived and found the unidentified man unconscious and unresponsive with serious head injuries, and pronounced him dead at the scene, cops said.<\/p>\n

Grisly images captured the man\u2019s lifeless body lying in the truck bed among rakes and other park tools. <\/p>\n
