President Trump withdrew his \u201csupport and endorsement\u201d of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a> Friday, calling the Georgia Republican \u201cwacky\u201d and a \u201clunatic\u201d amid her demands that the administration release documents related to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of \u2018Congresswoman\u2019 Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia,\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The president laid out a laundry list of his \u201cRecord Achievements for our Country,\u201d but fumed that \u201cover the past few weeks\u201d Greene has only grumbled about his administration.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201c[A]ll I see \u2018Wacky\u2019 Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!\u201d Trump wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Greene, who had previously been a staunch supporter of the president, has broken with Trump on several issues in recent weeks<\/a> \u2013 including by voicing support for an extension of Affordable Care Act health insurance subsidies set to expire Dec. 31 and pushing for the Justice Department to release the so-called Epstein files.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump argued that Greene began to stray when he suggested that she shouldn\u2019t seek higher office.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt seemed to all begin when I sent her a Poll stating that she should not run for Senator, or Governor, she was at 12%, and didn\u2019t have a chance (unless, of course, she had my Endorsement \u2014 which she wasn\u2019t about to get!),\u201d Trump wrote.<\/p>\n

The president indicated that he has also grown tired of Greene\u2019s constant pestering.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cShe has told many people that she is upset that I don\u2019t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen\/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can\u2019t take a ranting Lunatic\u2019s call every day,\u201d he continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Greene argued that Trump withdrew his support after she texted him about releasing the Epstein files. REUTERS<\/p>\n

Trump signaled that he\u2019s hoping for a more loyal Republican to primary Greene ahead of the 2026 midterm election, and that he\u2019d endorse that person.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support,\u201d he wrote, arguing that Greene \u201chas gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Greene is one of only four House Republicans to sign onto a discharge petition led by Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) that will force a vote on resolution demanding the Justice Department to release unclassified documents related to the Epstein case.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump has blasted the Epstein case as a Democrat-led \u201choax,\u201d but on Friday said he would ask the DOJ and FBI to investigate <\/a>the disgraced financier\u2019s \u201cinvolvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Like a scorned flame, Greene responded to being dumped by Trump by releasing her private text messages with the president.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Trump just attacked me and lied about me,\u201d she seethed on X<\/a>. \u201cI haven\u2019t called him at all, but I did send these text messages today.\u201d<\/p>\n

The message to \u201cDJT\u201d show Greene demanding that the president \u201ccheck the flight logs of Epstein\u2019s plane,\u201d alleging that former president Bill Clinton is on them \u201c26 times! Hillary too!!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Greene released her private text messages with President Trump shortly after the commander in chief\u2019s post. X<\/p>\n

The congresswoman explained that she wanted Trump administration to release the Epstein files \u201cfor the women who were victims\u201d and to probe if \u201cDemocrat bad guys\u201d were \u201centangled and involved\u201d with Epstein.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cEpstein was the spider that wove the web of the deep state. Lean into it!\u201d she implored.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In another text to \u201cNatalie,\u201d shared by Greene, the congresswoman raged that she\u2019s long defended Trump and that the Epstein case is \u201cnot a hoax.\u201d <\/p>\n

On X, Greene wrote: \u201cApparently this is what sent him over the edge. The Epstein files.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

She accused Trump of making her \u201can example to scare all the other Republicans before next weeks vote\u201d on the discharge petition.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s astonishing really how hard he\u2019s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level,\u201d Greene added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him,\u201d she continued. \u201cBut I don\u2019t worship or serve Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"President Trump withdrew his \u201csupport and endorsement\u201d of Rep.
