MMA\u2019s bad boy, who has now gotten into brawls at two different events that he was not actively competing in, has been banned for life from attending the promotion\u2019s events, UFC president Dana White revealed to reporters after UFC 322<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou will never see Dillon Danis at a UFC fight ever again,\u201d White said of Danis after he got into a free-for-all melee with teammates of Islam Makhachev<\/a> that took well over a dozen security agents to break up.<\/p>\n

The brawl occurred between the featured prelim bout \u2014 which Bo Nickal won by knockout in round three \u2014 and the main cards beginning at Madison Square Garden arena. <\/p>\n

The issue stemmed from previous beef from a 2018 fight between Makhachev\u2019s training partner Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor, who was training with Danis at the time.<\/p>\n

Bad blood boiled in that one as Danis was attacked by Nurmagomedov after a fourth round submission win over McGregor, igniting an even more insane brawl that spilled into the cage and into the stands. <\/p>\n

\u201cI blame myself for that [brawl], actually,\u201d White continued post fight referring to the UFC 322 brawl on Saturday night. \u201cThey came back and told me right before I walked out for the main card that Dillon Danis was here and he was moving around sitting in fighters seats and not sitting in his own seat that he had. He had a ticket. And they said, \u2018Do you want us to throw him out of here?\u2019 and I said, \u2018He has a ticket?\u2019 and they said, \u2018Yeah.\u2019 They told me that [former UFC fighter] [Jorge] Masvidal said he\u2019s going to f\u2013k him up on sight. And I said, \u2018Where is Masvidal sitting?\u2019 and they said, \u2018Well, he\u2019s six or seven rows away from Masvidal.\u2019 So I said \u2018If the guy has a ticket, let him sit in his seat. Let him do what he\u2019s doing, but keep an eye on him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Danis then got into a fight with Makhachev\u2019s teammates. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt never even crossed my mind, as stupid as that could be, that the entire muslin brotherhood was here tonight in the first five rows for Islam [Makhachev]. As soon as it broke out I was over to the side and I said, \u2018F\u2013k I know exactly what that is.’\u201d<\/p>\n

White revealed that the UFC had the option to press charges against Danis. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo they call me from downstairs and they said, \u2018We got him down here do you want to press charges and have him arrested?\u201d And I said, \u2018No, we don\u2019t want to press charges. This is the fight business man. You know how I feel about this s\u2013t. I could have prevented this tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Danis has badly wanted to get into the UFC, so much so that he mapped out his road to the UFC in an exclusive interview with The Post<\/a> in August.<\/p>\n

\u201cI talked to Hunter [Campbell, UFC Chief Business Officer] and there\u2019s certain things that we talk about that I can\u2019t say,\u201d Danis said. \u201cHe just wants me to stay active and show that I want to fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

He even laid out potential opponents in the UFC.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the 170-pound division, they\u2019re not good to be honest with you,\u201d Danis added in August. \u201cKevin Holland, and who\u2019s the other guy that he just lost to? There\u2019s so many guys that are just so bad in the top 15. I would run through like Daniel Rodriguez. All of these guys are terrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

It would appear that his UFC hopes from come to a crashing halt, despite the fact that he has another fighter booked for Dec. 20 against Anthony Taylor in a regional promotion called \u201cMisfits.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"That\u2019s all for Dillon Danis.
