{"id":43387,"date":"2025-11-18T07:49:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T07:49:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/43387\/"},"modified":"2025-11-18T07:49:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T07:49:09","slug":"80-year-old-woman-fatally-struck-by-minivan-in-allerton-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/43387\/","title":{"rendered":"80-year-old woman fatally struck by minivan in Allerton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An 80-year-old woman was fatally struck by a minivan in Allerton, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>Rose Young of the Bronx was hit by the 2005 Honda Odyssey at Holland Avenue and Allerton Avenue just before 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 13.<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD says the driver, a 56-year-old man, was turning left onto Allerton Avenue when he struck Young.<\/p>\n<p>EMS took the 80-year-old to NYC Health + Hospitals\/Jacobi, where she was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the driver stayed on scene, and no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An 80-year-old woman was fatally struck by a minivan in Allerton, according to police.
