And one of the most dramatic of these sparkly seasonal displays is built directly over the Pacific.<\/p>\n<p>Well, not so directly: It sits atop the Roundhouse Aquarium, which grandly occupies the end of Manhattan Beach Pier, which, yes, stretches a considerable distance over the ocean.<\/p>\n<p>This conical light structure, a glowing green tree, makes for a lovely vision, especially when viewed around sunset on a brisk November or December evening.<\/p>\n<p>Those visions will soon come to life: The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manhattanbeach.gov\/departments\/parks-and-recreation\/special-events\/pier-lighting-and-downtown-business-association-holiday-open-house\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">35th Annual Pier Lighting<\/a> will ho-ho-happen Nov. 19.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Photo-Credit_-Roundhouse-Aquarium.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tRoundhouse Aquarium<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\tRoundhouse Aquarium<\/p>\n<p>Pretty views await this season courtesy of the Manhattan Beach Pier tree.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the festive feel? The <a href=\"https:\/\/roundhouseaquarium.org\/holiday-open-house\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Roundhouse Aquarium<\/a>, the tree&#8217;s base, is extending its closing time to 8:30 p.m. and holding a <a href=\"https:\/\/roundhouseaquarium.org\/holiday-open-house\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Holiday Open House.<\/a> Complimentary hot cocoa will be available at the marine institution through 6 p.m., while the lighting is set for 7 o&#8217;clock.<\/p>\n<p>Local choirs, live tunes, face painters, and pictures at Santa&#8217;s Sleigh will add to the convivial evening atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>And near the pier?
