STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Pete Davidson is back on the internet \u2014 but only for a day, according to his girlfriend, model Elsie Hewitt.<\/p>\n
The couple made a rare joint appearance Tuesday as they took over Bumble\u2019s Instagram to celebrate \u201call versions of love,\u201d sharing stories and handwritten notes about their relationship.<\/p>\n
\u201cpete\u2019s back on the internet (for today) & we\u2019re taking over @bumble<\/a> so catch us there !\u201d Hewitt wrote on Instagram in a joint post with Bumble, alongside photos of the couple and a series of prompt cards titled \u201cLove in their words.\u201d \u201cthank you Bumble for celebrating all versions of love including ours.\u201d<\/p>\n The post features snapshots of the pair, plus answers written in their handwriting. When asked what makes him love Hewitt even more, Davidson wrote: \u201cHow excited she gets to show me food I\u2019ve never had before.\u201d Hewitt, answering what he\u2019s taught her about love, wrote: \u201cPatient. & always the thing to lead with,\u201d adding a small heart.<\/p>\n In a classic Pete Davidson flourish, his answer to \u201cIf we matched today, my opening line would be\u201d was: \u201cWhat you doin\u2019 the next 40 years?\u201d<\/p>\n The Bumble takeover continued on Instagram Stories, where the couple sat down to answer a series of relationship questions, most of which led to the two cracking each other up.<\/p>\n When asked their idea of a perfect date night, Hewitt suggested \u201csome kind of activity like an escape room,\u201d despite admitting they\u2019ve never actually done one together. Davidson jumped in to tease her about something she said early in their relationship. <\/p>\n \u201cShe goes, \u2018I have a standing reservation at an escape room, so we can like go anytime,\u2019\u201d he said, laughing. \u201cI was like, \u2018Oh cool dude.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n They also shared when they knew things were getting serious. Hewitt didn\u2019t hesitate. \u201cWhen we went out to dinner for the first time, I was like, \u2018Okay, don\u2019t think I\u2019m crazy, but I just know you\u2019re going to be the father of my children.\u2019\u201d Davidson immediately agreed: \u201cAnd I was like, I am.\u201d<\/p>\n As for what always makes them laugh, Hewitt referenced Davidson\u2019s \u201clittle dance,\u201d though he insisted, \u201cthat\u2019s just for us.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple closed out the Instagram Story Q&A by talking about becoming parents.
