{"id":44969,"date":"2025-11-19T16:54:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T16:54:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/44969\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T16:54:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T16:54:08","slug":"manhattan-names-joliet-spokeswoman-dibenedetto-as-its-village-administrator-shaw-local","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/44969\/","title":{"rendered":"Manhattan names Joliet spokeswoman DiBenedetto as its village administrator \u2013 Shaw Local"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-xb1qmn-0 gBIiEi body-paragraph\">The village of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shawlocal.com\/tags\/manhattan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.shawlocal.com\/tags\/manhattan\/\">Manhattan<\/a> as hired Rosemaria DiBenedetto, communications director for the city of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shawlocal.com\/tags\/joliet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.shawlocal.com\/tags\/joliet\/\">Joliet<\/a>, as its village administrator.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-xb1qmn-0 gBIiEi body-paragraph\">The Manhattan village board on Tuesday approved hiring DiBenedetto.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-xb1qmn-0 gBIiEi body-paragraph\">DiBenedetto replaces Jeff Wold, who will become police chief in Seneca.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-xb1qmn-0 gBIiEi body-paragraph\">\u201cDiBenedetto brings more than 30 years of experience working with municipal governments, public agencies, and community organizations throughout the Chicago metropolitan area,\u201d stated a news release from the village. \u201cShe has extensive leadership experience in municipal management, public administration, intergovernmental relations, and strategic communications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-xb1qmn-0 gBIiEi body-paragraph\">Her current position in Joliet is media management and communications director.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-xb1qmn-0 gBIiEi body-paragraph\">She has also worked with the village of Manhattan and Mayor Mike Adrieansen as a communications consultant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-xb1qmn-0 gBIiEi body-paragraph\">\u201cRosemaria brings an exceptional combination of municipal experience, strategic leadership, and proven communications expertise that make her uniquely qualified to partner with me, the village clerk, and the board to lead our village forward,\u201d Adrieansen said in the news release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-xb1qmn-0 gBIiEi body-paragraph\">This is a developing story.
