Joe Burrow could see the field soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The star Bengals quarterback was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, setting up a possible return after two months away.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Burrow has been sidelined since Sept. 14<\/a> after suffering a toe injury against the Jaguars in Cincinnati\u2019s second game of the season and later undergoing surgery.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wednesday was the first time Burrow, 28, went through 11-on-11 drills and a full practice since the procedure.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s still reason to believe Burrow has some ways to go before putting the uniform back on.<\/p>\n

Before Wednesday\u2019s practice, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor wouldn\u2019t commit to Burrow playing in Week 12 against the Patriots on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cUntil we get through some practices, there\u2019s no reason for me to even speculate on that,\u201d Taylor told reporters.<\/p>\n

The Bengals will take the field four days later against the AFC North rival Ravens on Thanksgiving, which was the original target date for Burrow\u2019s return when he went down in mid-September.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Nov. 10, when Burrow returned to practice<\/a> for the first time since the injury, the signal-caller told reporters that it would be \u201cvery\u201d meaningful to come back for the Thanksgiving game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll see how these next couple of weeks go,\u201d Burrow said at the time. \u201cWe\u2019ll see how it feels. We\u2019ll make a decision when the time comes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cincinnati\u2019s playoff chances are teetering, sitting at 3-7 heading into Sunday\u2019s game against the AFC-best Patriots.<\/p>\n

The Bengals have won just once in eight games without Burrow.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Joe Flacco, who was acquired from the Browns<\/a> in early October, has started the past five games in Burrow\u2019s absence.\u00a0<\/p>\n
