THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 A Bronx mom is accused of abandoning her newborn son in front of an apartment building on Wednesday afternoon, police said Thursday.<\/p>\n
Authorities found the baby wrapped in a blanket in a bag in front of 689 East 223rd St. at around 12:11 p.m., according to the NYPD. The boy was conscious and alert and taken to the hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n
