Louis Vuitton showcased its Cruise 2026 collection at a historic site in Avignon, France – Louis Vuitton<\/p>\n
Ghesqui\u00e8re, who had been artistic director of women\u2019s collections at Vuitton since 2013, loves choosing important buildings of architectural\u00a0note as a backdrop for Vuitton\u2019s Cruise shows. Jumping from futurism to medieval,\u00a0Ghesqui\u00e8re took Vuitton\u2019s cruise 2026 show to the Palais des Papes, a UNESCO<\/a> World Heritage site in Avignon, Southern France, in a brilliant display of chivalric chic.<\/p>\n![\"A](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/dd2f.jpg\")

Other remarkable Vuitton cruise shows have been staged at the Bob Hope<\/a> estate in California\u2019s Palm Springs, originally designed by John Lautner; Brazil\u2019s Museum of Contemporary Art Niter\u00f3i by Oscar Niemeyer; Kyoto\u2019s Miho Museum by I.M. Pei; the Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul de Vence, France by Josep Llu\u00eds Sert; and Barcelona\u2019s Park G\u00fcell, the fairytale gardens designed by modernist architect Antoni Gaud\u00ed. Ghesqui\u00e8re has also staged mega catwalk displays before in the US, including in the Salk Institute in San Diego, a clifftop research facility, and has visited Italy – showing on Isola Bella, one of the Borromean islands on Lake Maggiore.<\/p>\n
