The National Weather Service forecasts dry conditions during the day Friday with temperatures reaching the low to mid-50s degrees.<\/p>\n
According to the National Weather Service, rain will likely begin after midnight Friday and continue into Saturday morning, primarily affecting the southern half of the forecast area, including Staten Island. Precipitation amounts are expected to remain below a quarter inch, with no flooding concerns anticipated. The rain should taper off by mid-morning Saturday, with clearing skies for the remainder of the day.<\/p>\n
\u201cHigh temperatures for Friday and Saturday will be near normal in the range of 50 to 55 degrees,\u201d the National Weather Service reports. Winds will remain light throughout Friday, becoming westerly and northwesterly Friday night into Saturday morning, but staying below 10 mph.<\/p>\n
