{"id":47584,"date":"2025-11-21T18:11:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-21T18:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/47584\/"},"modified":"2025-11-21T18:11:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T18:11:09","slug":"jenna-lyons-leaving-bravos-real-housewives-of-new-york-city-after-2-seasons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/47584\/","title":{"rendered":"Jenna Lyons Leaving Bravo&#8217;s &#8216;Real Housewives Of New York City&#8217; After 2 Seasons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/jenna-lyons\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jenna-lyons\" data-tag=\"jenna-lyons\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jenna Lyons<\/a> is quitting <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city\" data-tag=\"the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Real Housewives of New York City<\/a> after two seasons of the show. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLyons took to social media to announce she would not be returning to the <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/bravo\/\" id=\"auto-tag_bravo\" data-tag=\"bravo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bravo<\/a> series ahead of a cast shakeup. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cThe rumors are true,\u201d Lyons shared in an Instagram post. \u201cI was grateful to be asked to join season 16 of RHONY \u2018as a friend of\u2019- knowing my personal life was not really available to be filmed, we agreed that made sense And after thinking it through I have made the difficult decision not return to the show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tShe continued, \u201cI would be the oldest and only openly gay woman on the show and feel like this is an opportunity for a new dynamic to emerge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLyons said she was grateful for executive producer Andy Cohen \u201cfor the opportunity and support,\u201d and also thanked the fans \u201cwho have said hi on the street, asked for a photo, supported me here on Instagram.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cTHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!- it\u2019s so incredibly meaningful,\u201d she added. \u201cI will be watching and bitching from the sidelines with love and outfit judgement [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLyons joined RHONY in Season 14 as part of the reboot of the show, which also included Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield. She returned in Season 15, which also saw the addition of Racquel Chevremont to the cast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn her Instagram post, Lyons tagged all her co-stars except for Brynn Whitfield, with whom the cast had a fallout during the latter part of Season 15.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tRHONY last aired in February 2025, and Season 16 had been put on pause.
