Queen’s Park’s Scottish Championship match with Ross County was postponed shortly before kick-off because of a frozen pitch at The City Stadium.<\/p>\n
The game was called off around 15 minutes prior to the scheduled 19:45 GMT kick-off.<\/p>\n

Spiders head coach Sean Crighton told BBC Scotland: “There are a lot of areas that aren’t safe for the players.<\/p>\n
“We’re absolutely gutted the game’s off. It’s not great but, at the end of the day, players’ safety’s paramount.<\/p>\n
“It’s not an ideal situation for anybody.”<\/p>\n
County assistant Callum Davidson added: “Safety’s the most important thing. We’re really disappointed the game’s off.<\/p>\n
“It’s a sensible decision. That’s football, so we’ll just prepare for the next game.”<\/p>\n
Unlike the neighbouring Hampden Park, The City Stadium does not have undersoil heating.<\/p>\n
Queen’s Park are eighth in the table, a point above second-bottom Ross County and two above Airdrieonians.<\/p>\n
There are four more second-tier fixtures scheduled for Saturday at 15:00 GMT.<\/p>\n
