Clouds will linger into Saturday morning before they start to thin out by the afternoon. A storm system will clip the Southern Tier on Saturday morning. This may bring a few showers to areas along the New York and Pennsylvania state line. Places like Elmira and Binghamton may see some rain in the morning.<\/p>\n

By the afternoon, the rain chance will fade for the south and clouds will start to thin out for most of the region with some sunshine. Afternoon highs will be in the 40s for most.<\/p>\n

Another weak system will clip Central New York on Sunday. This will bring the chance for a few light rain and snow showers. By Monday, we will see a mix of sun and clouds with milder temperatures. The next storm system will bring rain heading into Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

The first IKEA in upstate New York opened its doors at Destiny USA Friday morning. Shoppers lined up at the entrance early in the morning before the store opened, hoping to be the first enter.\u00a0The new IKEA is located in the former At Home store, which is more than 70,000 square feet.<\/p>\n

The New York state Commission on Ethics and Lobbying In Government (COELIG) has closed the case into\u00a0allegations against former state Sen. Jeff Klein\u00a0for sexual harassment by a former staffer, the ethics panel said Friday.\u00a0In a 2018 interview with\u00a0The Huffington Post,\u00a0former state Senate employee Erica Vladimer claimed that Klein forcibly kissed her outside a bar in Albany in 2015.<\/p>\n
