Robert Mecea<\/p>\n<p>The pedestrian, who police said was lying in the roadway, was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital and pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p>The driver fled the scene after running over the victim, the NYPD said. <\/p>\n<p>There are no arrests so far and sources said police are looking for a champagne-colored vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>More information about the car was not immediately available.
