Recently, Purdie <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/news\/24430394\/ramen-by-ra-nyc-japanese-restaurant-open-breakfast-ramen-east-village\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">upgraded<\/a> to a storefront in the East Village. The vintage-themed space isn\u2019t much bigger, with up to six stools all facing the kitchen \u2014 but it is efficient. Seats are available <a href=\"https:\/\/resy.com\/cities\/new-york-ny\/venues\/ramen-by-ra\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">by reservation only<\/a>, and you pre-order and pre-pay ahead of time. Purdie\u2019s inventive flavors are worth the effort of setting a calendar alert, though.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">With its 45-minute allotted seating time and tiny space, it\u2019s ideal for solo diners. In fact, reservations are only available for up to two.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Even if you can\u2019t land a reservation, you can order to-go cups of shoyu broth and breakfast bao from a walk-up window.
