The royal appears in \u201cThe Hawk is Dead<\/a>\u201d by one of her favorite authors \u2014 bestselling writer Peter James \u2014 as part of his popular Detective Superintendent Roy Grace series.<\/p>\n The novel opens with the Queen aboard the royal train on the way to an engagement when it derails and is followed by an explosion that kills Camilla\u2019s private secretary, Sir Peregrine Greaves.<\/p>\n Queen Camilla is a character in Peter James\u2019 new thriller.
