The biological mom of Florida cheerleader Anna Kepner, who was killed on a Carnival cruise ship, has questioned why the teen was sharing a cabin with the stepbrother now reportedly suspected<\/a> in her death.<\/p>\n

Heather Wright, who had been estranged from her daughter for several years, spoke out after authorities formally ruled the girl\u2019s death a homicide.<\/a><\/p>\n

Wright told Fox News that she wasn\u2019t coping with news of her daughter\u2019s tragic demise \u2014 as she bashed the teen\u2019s father, who is her ex, for apparently painting her as a villain.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy am I the bad guy?\u201d Wright said. \u201cHe put them in the same room together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Authorities have released few details about the girl\u2019s Nov. 6 death after her body was found stashed under a bed in the cabin she was sharing with her stepbrother.<\/p>\n

As mystery continues to engulf the case<\/a>, the feds have reportedly been eyeing her 16-year-old stepbrother as a suspect.<\/p>\n

The high school senior had been on the ship with her blended family \u2014 including her grandparents, father, stepmother, siblings and stepsiblings \u2014 when she died.<\/p>\n

Wright, who separated from her ex, Christopher Kepner, when her daughter was just a child, quickly accused the dad of keeping her death from her.<\/p>\n

She claimed, too, that her ex initially left her out of Kepner\u2019s online obituary and banned her from attending the memorial service \u2014 forcing her to go in secret.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThey said I never went, but I did,\u201d said Wright, who lives in Oklahoma.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want to be seen, so I made sure no one seen me \u2014 plus they can\u2019t stop me from going anyway, even though Chris said he would have me arrested for back child support.\u201d<\/p>\n
