It is hard to go a day on social media without some form of Geese<\/a> reference in the rock music scene. Geese<\/a>, not to be confused with indie groove band Goose,<\/a> just wrapped up their 2025 tour with two electric nights at the Brooklyn Paramount to cap off a meteoric year which includes robust touring and the release of their fifth album Getting Killed.<\/p>\n

Geese Launches During the Pandemic and Launches First Record ‘Projector’<\/p>\n

Geese formed in 2020, and has quickly risen from a basement to viral status in the indie rock scene, with their unique vibe and edgy sound and sold out performances.\u00a0 Based in Brooklyn, New York, the five-member band consists of\u00a0 Cameron Winter (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Emily Green (guitar), Dominic DiGesu (bass) and Max Bassin (drums). During live performances, the band is joined by keyboardist Sam Revaz.\u00a0 In 2021, the band released their\u00a0debut album,\u00a0Projector.<\/a><\/p>\n

Geese Launches Their 5th Studio Album<\/p>\n

Their debut album clearly showcased a distinctive blend of sharp guitar riffs, experimental sounds, and deep lyrics, where the influences of legends like The Velvet Underground and Talking Heads shine through. Geese does not always fall in an obvious category, as it combines elements of rock, pop, and punk, to name a few.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

The title track of the album is vibey, cool, and catchy. Tracks “Disco” and “Rain Dance” are straight fire, and demonstrates their range and diversity. On the heels of Projector, Geese released 3D Country and album 4D Country in 2023, making a statement for their work, while playing out on the regular.<\/p>\n

In 2024, the band followed up a robust 2023 with their live album entitled Alive & In Person.\u00a0The album features bangers such as “Jesse,” “2122,” and “4D Country,” to name a few.\u00a0If you are just getting into Geese, start here.\u00a0The kinetic vibes are abundant, and turn it up loud to get a true sense of their deal.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to 2025, Geese released the album Getting Killed, which was the theme of their tour, and keeping the velocity of their flow in the indie music scene.\u00a0The album is a view into their evolving sound that shows their blend of indie, alternative, and punk, with their own Brooklyn spin.<\/p>\n
