A fifth grade teacher at a Big Apple private school was suspended after unhinged online ramblings that included a warning to CUNY City College that \u201cnone of you Jew bastards are safe,\u201d prosecutors and sources said.<\/p>\n

Joshua Penn, 39, made the raging post after an interfaith event on campus turned chaotic<\/a> when a Muslim speaker hatefully singled out a \u201cZionist\u201d in attendance \u2014 and allegedly sent DMS to City College\u2019s Instagram page threatening controversial self-described imam Abdullah Mady, according to a criminal complaint and law enforcement sources.<\/p>\n

The Manhattan resident teaches at the Corlears School and has since been placed on administrative leave, the school\u2019s leader confirmed to The Post Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Penn was busted Friday and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment but pleaded not guilty in Manhattan court later the same day.<\/p>\n

Penn\u2019s alleged threats emerged as news of Mady\u2019s actions at the off-the-rails Nov. 13 City College interfaith event spread last week and was widely condemned.<\/p>\n

Mady, a recent grad pursuing his master\u2019s degree at the school, encouraged Muslim students to leave the workshop because of the involvement of Ilya Bratman \u2014 an adjunct lecturer at Baruch College and the director of the Hillel Jewish campus group, according to audio obtained by The Post and people in attendance.<\/p>\n

Penn, from his Instagram account \u201cjewfacekillah,\u201d leveled the threats on City College\u2019s social media page that were seen by the school\u2019s communication director last Thursday, court docs obtained by The Post alleged.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet your faculty member Abdullah he gunna catch it in the street,\u201d Penn allegedly wrote, the complaint states.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe might not make it to the weekend. Dispatched team to your campus. None of you Jew hating bastards are safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Penn later called police and allegedly admitted to sending the messages, paving the way to his arrest, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Penn has taught at Corlears School since 2017, but is currently out of the classroom.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce we were made aware of these allegations, we placed the individual on administrative leave while we conduct our review,\u201d Head of School David Egolf said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive environment, and we expect all employees to uphold those values. Because this is an ongoing personnel matter, we cannot share additional information at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Post has sought comment from Penn\u2019s listed lawyer, whose voicemail was full. Penn declined comment when reached by phone. <\/p>\n

His next court date is Jan. 15.\u00a0<\/p>\n
