\u201cWhen you realize that life is bigger than football, that I\u2019m still blessed, that if you tell me I\u2019m in this position 10, 15 years ago, I\u2019m saying yes in a heartbeat,\u201d Fields told The Post in his first remarks since his benching. \u201cSo when you really take a step back and look at the totality of life and like how far I\u2019ve come \u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cI look back at old pictures when I\u2019m eight years old and I\u2019m in the team photo and I just say like \u2018Look, God chose me to be in this position,\u2019 so it\u2019s like I\u2019m destined to be here, I\u2019m supposed to be here for a reason. Wherever that reason may be, we might never know, so it\u2019s like you just gotta make the best of every opportunity and look at it from a positive side.<\/p>\n
