The\u00a0Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade<\/a> is gearing up for another showstopping holiday spectacle, and some familiar Texas faces will be popping up on your screen. As the nation tunes in for tradition, nostalgia and larger-than-life performances, a few hometown talents are preparing for their moment in front of millions.<\/p>\n The 99th annual Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade<\/a> is set to roll through Manhattan once again, and among the massive balloons, celebrity performances and marching band fanfare, the Texas Hill Country will be proudly represented. This year,\u00a0Boerne High School\u2019s Starlettes and Silver Stars dance teams are taking centerstage as one of the select ensembles invited to perform, a moment that has been a long time coming.\u00a0<\/p>\n “This has been months of hard work and commitment from these student athletes,” Rachel Neiman, director of both dance teams, told the Boerne Star<\/a>. “I\u2019m so proud of them and can\u2019t wait to see them represent Boerne on the national stage.”<\/p>\n But North Texas is also getting in on the Thanksgiving magic. L.D. Bell High School\u2019s Blue Raider Band is the only Texas band marching in the 2025 Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The 300-member ensemble from Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD, led by director Suzanne Dell, will be one of 11 marching bands performing in Manhattan.<\/a><\/p>\n
