AccuWeather.com<\/a> senior meteorologist Carl Erickson told the Advance\/SILive.com.<\/p>\n\u201cIt doesn\u2019t look like a lot of snow, given the storm track, but as we go into Tuesday, especially toward daybreak, there\u2019s probably just enough cold air in place to have some wet snow mixing in, then rain for a couple of hours on Tuesday morning,\u201d said Erickson.<\/p>\n
Given most of the precipitation will occur early Tuesday, commuters could expect some reduced visibility during the morning rush hour \u2014 which could be just enough to slow down vehicles on the roads. But roadways should be clear of ice and snow, Erickson said. <\/p>\n
The AccuWeather Wintercast calls for rain and snow to mostly begin around 10 a.m. and end around 1 p.m., with little to no accumulation expected. The mercury will rise to a high temperature of 41 degrees.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt this point, it looks like temperatures are going to be too warm for much accumulation,\u201d Erickson said. \u201cIt would probably be fairly brief, that mixing looks to be primarily just a chilly rain throughout the day on Tuesday after that brief mix at the onset.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since it\u2019s a fast-moving storm, it is expected to clear out by Tuesday night. <\/p>\n
