A New Jersey family\u2019s Thanksgiving Day celebration turned tragic when two sisters died saving their disabled dad from a raging house fire, authorities said. <\/p>\n
Frantzia Fleury, 49, and Pojanee Fleury, 42, were overcome by flames as they guided their father out of the home on quaint Mosswood Avenue near Tremont Avenue in the City of Orange, the Essex County Prosecutor\u2019s Office said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Their dad was able to escape unscathed, along with six others who were inside the home, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The blaze broke out at about 5 p.m. and the siblings were pronounced dead at the scene at 6:45 p.m., prosecutors said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pojanee is described on her personal website<\/a> as a publisher, author and inventor who penned the memoir<\/a>, \u201cWho\u2019s Going to Invent That, You?\u201d, which follows her own journey and challenges in becoming an inventor.<\/p>\n In a post on Facebook, the African Immigrants\u2019 Commission of New York and Connecticut remembered Pojanee fondly<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Pojanee, seen in a social media photo, was a publisher, author and inventor. That\u2019s really hard.\u201d<\/p>\n Another neighbor said he\u2019d always had pleasant encounters with the family. <\/p>\n
