Check out photos from the performance below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:start\">During the evening, guests in attendance were treated to a mix of new and old material, including the debut of Smith&#8217;s new single, a preview of songs yet to be released, and a selection of favorite hits.\u00a0After selling out the original 12-date residency, it\u00a0has been extended through December due to high demand. The full dates are below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:start\">Kicking off February 10, 2026, Smith will perform\u00a0\u201cTo Be Free: San Francisco,\u201d\u00a0an eight-night residency at the\u00a0Castro Theatre, a designated landmark in the heart of the city\u2019s LGBTQ+ cultural epicenter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A five-time GRAMMY\u00ae winner,\u00a0<a target=\"newwinddow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/people\/Sam-Smith\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Sam Smith<\/a> holds two Guinness World Records \u2014 for the most consecutive weeks in the U.K. Top 10 Album Chart (for their 2014 debut,\u00a0In the Lonely Hour) and for having the first <a target=\"newwinddow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.broadwayworld.com\/people\/James-Bond\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">James Bond<\/a> theme to reach No.1 on the U.K. charts (for the Oscar and Golden Globe-winning\u00a0\u201cWriting\u2019s on the Wall\u201d).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Smith has amassed over 40 million equivalent album sales, 300 million single sales, and over 56 billion career streams across their catalog of critically acclaimed albums, In the Lonely Hour, The Thrill of It All, Love Goes, and\u00a0GLORIA,\u00a0which includes the global smash single,\u00a0\u201cUnholy,\u201d\u00a0Ft.
