AARP The Magazine<\/a> earlier this month, the reporter asked the actor his thoughts about approaching the milestone.<\/p>\n\u201cWill I still be playing golf? That\u2019s the question,\u201d Freeman responded.<\/p>\n
The \u201cBruce Almighty\u201d star shared that he lives on a golf course and is still \u201cpretty good at golf.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, for a hack, I\u2019m pretty good,\u201d Freeman gushed. \u201cIt\u2019s walking, stooping, bending, swinging, cussing. It\u2019s a great sport for older adults. It\u2019s better than bocce ball.\u201d<\/p>\n
While he does use a cart to get around the course, he still receives a good amount of exercise while playing.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been given dispensation to take the cart into places where normally they would stop the cart. Age makes a difference,\u201d Freeman explained. \u201cSo I can get pretty close to the greens with the cart, but you still have to do a bit of walking. I\u2019ve got, everybody probably noticed by now, my right foot is kind of bum. It gives me a slight limp because of the ankle. So I can only walk so much before I wear it out.\u201d<\/p>\n
For Freeman, his days consist of getting out on the green.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost days when it\u2019s sunny, that\u2019s what I think: \u2018Are we going to be able to golf today?\u2019\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n
Freeman also addressed his retirement from acting, making it clear he isn\u2019t stopping any time soon.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is a saying about old age, \u2018Keep moving,\u2019 and what\u00a0Clint Eastwood\u00a0says: \u2018Don\u2019t let the old man in,\u2019\u201d the Oscar winner said. \u201cThe way to do that is to keep getting up in the morning, keep working out in the gym, keep taking your vitamins, keep taking your prescribed meds, and keep moving. Keep moving. That is the secret to it all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Freeman recently reprised his role as magician\u00a0Thaddeus Bradley\u00a0in this year\u2019s \u201cNow You See Me: Now You Don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
The third installment of the franchise also stars Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo and Woody Harrelson.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re more comfortable learning your lines,\u201d Freeman expressed about making the third movie. \u201cYou\u2019re more comfortably ensconced in the role, you\u2019re more comfortable interacting with the same actors that you were interacting with before. You know what to expect. It makes it easy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Freeman also opened up about how he never let winning an Oscar in 2005 for \u201cMillion Dollar Baby\u201d go to his head.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt didn\u2019t change me one whit. I kind of knew early on that I would eventually get one. It didn\u2019t change me. I hope it didn\u2019t change me,\u201d the Hollywood legend explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause the only change you can expect after you\u2019ve gotten an Oscar is maybe your price goes up a tiny bit and your job prospects go up a bit. That\u2019s the one thing or two things I guess you could look forward to. Other than that, don\u2019t let your ego get the best of you.\u201d<\/p>\n
A day before his interview, the actor echoed his sentiments about staying in the spotlight.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m a little PO\u2019d, you know,\u201d Freeman told\u00a0The Guardian<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m like any other actor: don\u2019t mimic me with falseness. I don\u2019t appreciate it and I get paid for doing stuff like that, so if you\u2019re gonna do it without me, you\u2019re robbing me.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cSometimes the idea of retirement would float past me,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut as soon as my agent says there\u2019s a job or somebody wants you or they\u2019ve made an offer, the whole thing just boils back into where it was yesterday: how much you\u2019re going to pay, where we\u2019re gonna be?\u201d <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Playing golf at 90 is on the bucket list.
